Head of Business Development - Semiconductor - IM3334

Salary: c£80-100k, plus bonus and benefits

Job Term: Permanent, Full Time, Onsite / Hybrid

Job Outline:

A leading manufacturer of Semiconductor equipment is now looking for a strategic Head of Business Development to join their Senior Team in Bristol.

This is a key role in the company’s future growth, developing Roadmaps, based on an understanding of the current markets, customer needs and competitors, to identify future opportunities.

Working with key stakeholders, you will support the Roadmap, and new product introductions to enable my client to establish themselves as the preferred supplier of the semiconductor equipment.

You will be responsible for identifying and establishing market opportunities, developing long term relationships which will ultimately lead to increased sales and further growth opportunities.

In addition to growing revenue, you will establish a Business Development Team to support with further growth in the future.

Experience:

Previous experience working in a similar Semiconductor / CAPEX equipment manufacturer, from the Equipment market with a technical understanding of ALD, CVD, Plasma Deposition and Etching tools as well as an awareness of the compound semiconductor market is essential.

To succeed as Strategic Business Development Manager, you must have Device, Process and Ecosystem understanding to be able to develop and execute the strategic planning.

Qualifications:

A technical, relevant higher education qualification is preferred, along with significant experience working in compound semiconductor production 

Additional Information:

Candidates MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK/Europe and be prepared to regularly visit the main UK offices in Bristol.
