Job Outline: 

Are you a recent Graduate or similar, with an understanding of Electronic Test Equipment or Photonics?

My client who is a leading supplier of specialist scientific instrumentation, now requires a further Internal Sales & Applications Engineer to join their growing team.

Working at my client’s facility in Hertfordshire, you will undertake a range of sales and applications activities to promote and sell my clients range of Instrumentation and Photonics products.

Working with a wide range of clients, you will become the ‘Product Expert’ for all technical and commercial enquiries.

On a daily basis, the role will include working with both new and existing customers to provide both pre and post sales technical support and commercial/sales information etc.

You will also generate quotations, follow up on sales enquiries and update my clients CRM as required.

In addition to this you will also have an input into Marketing, as well as attending exhibitions and conferences to promote my client’s products.

The role will be predominantly office based but some travel may be required.

Full product training will be given.

All candidates must have a current UK driving licence.

Qualifications/Experience: 

Sales experience is not essential, but it is expected that you will have a background in Physics or Electronics and be educated to Degree level or higher.

Additional Information: 

Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK - Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.
