My client who is a market leading supplier of specialist scientific equipment, now seeks a Sales & Marketing Engineer/Assistant join their team.

Based at my client’s facility in West Sussex, you will provide both sales and technical support in all aspects of selling my clients equipment, spares and services to a broad range of customers.

This role would suit a recent science/technical graduate, or someone with experience in UHV/Thin Film/Optics, Photonics, Optoelectronics, Semiconductor or similar.

On a daily basis you will be working with a diverse range of customers, and as such it is expected that you will be both technically strong, and have excellent communication skills.

You will be working on customer enquiries, preparing quotations and submitting bid tenders for my clients systems.

Within the role, you will be responding to new enquires, as well as submitting proposals and tenders via telephone and email.

In addition to this you will be following up existing proposals and providing feedback

The role will also include assisting office marketing initiatives, attending exhibitions / trade shows to create both company and product awareness.

Exposure to Thin Film optics and or deposition of Thin films will be useful together with experience of responding to customers.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work full time in UK

Qualifications:

It is expected that you will have a Degree in Physics, Science, or similar.
