Production Technician – Fibre Optics – LM1172

Job Outline: 

A leading developer of fibre optics and laser based products is now looking for a further Production Technician to join their team based near Watford.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the for building and testing optical and electronic assemblies, and as such should be from a similar high tech manufacturing background.

Candidates with experience of soldering, electronic test, and handling fibreoptics and optical components will have a strong advantage.

Working from manufacturing documentation, you will assemble and test products, recording traceability and test date onto my clients IT system.

It is expected that you will have a high level of attention to detail, ideally being experienced in handling fibreoptics, and be IT literate.

Experience: 

Ideally you will have worked in a similar high tech manufacturing environment, as a Production Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Assembly Technician, or similar

Qualifications:

As the successful candidate, you should hold a technical qualification, ideally in electronics or similar.

Additional Information: 

Candidates MUST have a Full UK driving licence.

Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.
