Project Engineer - Display Technologies - IM3328

Salary / benefits: £30-65k depending on experience, plus benefits

Job Term: Permanent, Full Time, Onsite

Job Outline:

A leading developer of display technologies is now looking for an Applications / Project Engineer at their Head Offices in Hampshire.

Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will support project engineering for display products, incorporating tuning, testing and understanding the complete solution.

You will provide on-site field support to customers as and when required and support the sales team with technical support and on-site presentations.

Your responsibilities will include seeing customer designs from requirements to full production; demonstrating and marketing the devices; assisting with design, configuration; and supporting the customer throughout the life of the project.

The role will likely require a good amount of travel within the EU, predominantly Germany and it is likely that some international travel will be required from time to time.

Qualifications:

As the successful candidate you will hold a Degree, or equivalent, in Electronics or Physics (2:1 or higher) plus relevant commercial experience.

Experience:

The successful Project Engineer will have previous experience in a similar technical customer facing in a role, supporting the full product life cycle design and support.

You should also have a background in semiconductors, and hands-on experience of electronic circuit design and debug.

Additional Information:

Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK, without requiring sponsorship, and hold a full driving licence. Copies of Passports / Visas will be requested for verification purposes.

Candidates must be happy to travel and stay away from home regularly.
